The Last Days
Raven wasn't ruthless to her, neither did he treat her like a wore the way he did when she first arrived in the pack.

Their moment of romance was, however, hampered by a heavy knock from the living room. The knock was so loud that they both heard it from the bathroom.
"Don't go,"Aria pulled Raven back. “I would rather not be left alone,”
Raven hesitated at first as he spoke about the importance of the guest at the door.
When he analyses the situation, he had no option but to pick Aria over the potential visitor at the door
As he was about to return to the bathtub, he heard a voice that forced him to change direction, “Where the heck are you, Raven? You have some guests from the neighbouring pack,”
“That's Kael, my uncle,” Aria's eyeballs popped outside.
She quickly got out of the bathtub and dried her body with a white towel. She returned to the room and got dressed.
“You seem to forget that Raven is trapped in Aria's body,” Raven reminded Aria.
“So what do we do now? I have waited for this meeting all my life. How do I handle this when my soul is in your body?” Aria panicked.
They're about to encounter the biggest test of their lives since swapping souls.
“I have an idea,” Raven snapped. “You'll come with me to the meeting. You'd bail me out when I'm running out of track,”
“Great!” Aria endorsed the idea. She didn't disagree like she did the first time.
She waited patiently as Raven got dressed. They both mapped out their plans before stepping to the living room.
Raven opened the door to discover that Kael was nowhere to be found.
He wasn't surprised. He didn't expect Kael to drill at the door after he failed to get a response.
“Remember what we discussed there?” Aria sounded a reminder to Raven as they approached the conference room.
The guards at the entrance door were all surprised to see Aria accompany Raven to the meeting. That's the first time it's happening.
What made the guards more surprised is seeing Raven and Aria holding hands together like newly wedded couples.
“Was that really Alpha Raven?” Jonathan asked Smith, the second guard.
He needs to be sure that his eyes wasn't misleading him
“It seems the Alpha is in love,” Smith joked.
“Hell no!” Jonathan protested. He didn't even allow Smith to be done talking before passing his verdict. "The Alpha can't settle for a misfit like Aria. That will be a slap to his face.
“Perhaps, he's trying to put up an impressive performance for his guests,” Jonathan added. He was so confident of his assertions about Raven and Aria.
“Hey, look who we have here. The great Alpha Raven of the bloodhound pack,” Alpha Doncaster welcomed Raven with a hug while he thoroughly ignored Aria as though she never existed.
Alpha Doncaster is the Silver Wolf pack. 59 years of age who happens to be a friend to Raven's late father.
He used to be a frequent visitor to the bloodhound pack while Raven's Father was still alive.
Seeing Raven becoming a great leader is what Doncaster has wished for.
He is proud of Raven and wishes that Raven's late father was alive to see the significant progress Raven has made to the bloodhound pack.
Raven looks lost as Doncaster joked with him. He doesn't know how to explain to Doncaster that Aria's soul has possessed his body.
He kept on staring like a dummy while forcing a smile on his face.
That's the area he and Aria got it all wrong. Aria failed to provide Raven with all the information he needed about Alpha Doncaster.
Aria is tempted to speak up for Raven. But after a second thought, she realized that speaking up might expose their dirty little secrets. This will be her first time meeting Doncaster.
