Trixie point of view
I followed Melissa into the trees through the dark. My vision was already enhancing. There wasn't any light out here but it was like I could see clearly. We walked for what felt like an hour or so and ended up next to the river where there was a break in the sky. I started drinking the bottle of water the pack doctor gave me. It had the herbs and leaves in it that the bath I was in earlier had to get rid of the fever. He said drinking this would help keep the fevers away. He only gave me two so I had to make them last until I shifted. But I had already drank half of the first one.
I looked up at the sky there was suppose to be a full moon tonight. "When the moon is at its highest it will peak over the river and cast it's light down here. That will help your shift go
