I stood worrying watching my best friend tense and grip at the ground in pain while hearing her bones shift and break for her first transition into her wolf. I could see the sweat running down her bare back facing me and my mother. I looked back and forth between the two. My mother tells her not to fight it, to will it to happen. How so you even do that. Pure mental strength that is how. She could do it. I looked at the moon's light on her skin as it starting turning into patches of fur until it was a coat of her and the sound of bones breaking stopped and her transition was complete.
