I headed down the hall and into the office and knocked on Mrs. Rogers door. “Come in!” Her voice rang out to me. I opened the door and stepped in. “Hi, I am Trixie and, on my schedule, it asks me to come to you to get this block filled in?” I introduce myself to the school’s new counselor and tell her why I am here. She smiles and nods at me, “Yes, Come on over and have a seat and let me see that schedule of yours.” She tells me. I stepped up to the chairs in front of the desk and sat down, handing out my schedule for her to take a look. She looks at the paper for a few moments and looked back up to me. “I am afraid dear I only have one class with open enrollment for this period still, but it is a good one.” She smiled towards the end of her sentence and leaned it like she was
