I got the call in the middle of the night. Santiago was worried about Ariel.
"Santiago, what do you mean she blacked out in pain?" I almost yelled,
"Yes Beta, she yelled in pain and then passed out. She is out and writhing her teeth in pain…" he informed,
"So, what could it be?" I don't have any idea what could be happening to her.
"The king… he must be betraying her…." Santiago suggested that as a possibility.
"Wait, do you mean to say, she feels the mate bond?" I blurted,
