I left her there. I knew she was crying and it was f*****g killing me. The mate bond snapped back despite the rejection. The Moon Goddess is a psycho-masochist that clearly enjoys putting us through this kind of s**t.
I was frustrated and devastated. The pain I am feeling through the bond is suffocating. I am feeling her pain, and her frustration and that adds fuel to mine. I have my own pain and my own fears. This is insane. No one should go through something like this, but here we are, locked down in a vicious cycle.
The only thing I could do was to put some distance between us, and give her some air and time to think things through. My father has been taking care of Matei, and I still have a long talk pending with him.
I arrived at my floor and took a much-needed shower.
