I asked my dad to stay on my floor with Matei. After he fell asleep, I was on an information overload and needed time to process everything that I had discovered with the dragon king´s visit.
After pacing my room for about 10 minutes, I could feel Conri getting more anxious and restless. I decided to run, after realizing that sleep would not come my way.
I made my way down to the back door of the castle and shifted into Conri. I felt lost and wounded. I know I noticed several times that certain things triggered her. For example, when I started calling her ´my angel´… I saw her stiffen at the pet name.
Fuck, it suited her perfectly, because she was an angel. She mentioned she had sisters, but she never opened up about them. Last time, I saw her eyes glow in a different way.
