"It's the sundae." I say and shove a spoonful in my mouth, instantly freezing from the cold impact. "Brain freeze. This will make it go away." He says, pulling up a chair from a nearby table beside me and plopping down, placing a kiss on my temple. "Don't rush, it's only 8:15." He says as I eat up a few more spoonfuls. I point to the other spoon in the sundae and ask, "are you gonna eat?" He nods slowly and grabs the spoon, scooping a bit of ice cream on the tip and gently placing it at the opening of his mouth.
