A Baby for the Alpha King

I woke up with my body aching and heat still pulsing to my core. Alpha Solan hummed to my side, probably sensing that I was already awake. He slowly pulled me close to his embrace, eyes still closed, but still taking care of me.

My face flushed, realizing neither of us was wearing anything underneath the sheets. Along with the realization are the memories of the moments we have shared, passionate kisses and touches, words we could only say to one another at stolen times like this.

“Do you feel better?” He asked, murmuring on my neck and inhaling my scent.

I bit my lip when he started lightly nipping. Of course, it wasn’t enough to initiate the marking, but it was still enough to send shivers down the spine.

“I-I feel better now, Alpha. How long did I sleep?” I asked, still a little groggy. I’m pretty sure I haven’t remembered everything, as there were times the heat had been so intense that I lost myself in it.

“Three hours, more or less,” He muttered.

My eyes widened. I didn’t expect to sleep that long. I glanced at the windows, and it’s still dark outside. “I’m sorry for sleeping that long,” I said, suddenly feeling embarrassed.

“What are you apologizing for? You also needed rest. We’ve done it for several hours. You deserve more.” He said, still nuzzling on my neck.

My face tinted red with how casual he was about it. I remember being so lost in pleasure, and with my heat aiding it, I didn’t care that I was tired and kept pleading with him for more.

I bit my lip, feeling hot again after remembering all of that.

Solan inhaled deeply, followed by a growl that made me shudder, not out of fear, but out of desire I shouldn’t so openly express, given my status.

“Your heat is flaring again.” He said, voice lower and huskier than normal. His eyes were gleaming, flickering between his and his wolf’s.

I hid my face out of embarrassment. “Sorry, I can’t help it.”

“Hey,” Alpha Solan slowly removed my hands covering my face, “Why do you keep apologizing to me?”

“Because this is my duty, and I shouldn’t be slacking off. This is the only thing I could be good at for you. I can’t be useless in bed.” I answered with a straight face. It was demeaning to talk about myself this way, but it’s true anyway.

The Alpha King has been spending quite a lot of time accompanying me in my heat instead of being literally anywhere. I can’t waste his time.

He frowned at my remark, brows furrowing, and the warmth in his eyes was replaced with worry and a little disappointment.

“Cleo,” he called, voice still gentle despite the worry in his eyes. “I am not here merely to copulate and produce an heir. It’s always more than that.”

My heart skipped a beat when he cupped my face, almost making me forget the lines I wanted to draw between us.

“I’m here because you’re my mate. Because it is my duty, and my desire to take care of you, especially during your heat. You are important to me, and you shouldn’t feel like this is the only reason I’m with you. Please, believe and trust me?” Solan asked, and suddenly, he wasn’t the king who had everyone under him.

He’s just… my mate asking for my trust and understanding.

I forced a small smile even though I couldn’t mean it entirely. I badly wanted to believe him, to just let myself go and relish in this affection he’s giving me. But the truth and reality kept pulling me back, and I know that it would be harder for us if I did it.

“Thank you, Alpha,” I answered after composing myself, “For taking good care of me.”

He sighed, clearly sensing the distance I was trying to build. “And you don’t have to thank me like that, either. I’m not doing you a favor. Like I said, this is what I want. I’m doing this because I want to.”

I didn’t answer because if I did, my heart would only betray me. I don’t

Solan towered over me, slowly kissing me again, pouring his emotions into his kisses and touch.

“You shouldn’t be this kind to me, Alpha… It makes it harder to remember my place.”

I swallowed my thoughts while my body responded before I could think about it, answering to every touch and kiss. I heard myself moan on my lips as his hand ventured towards my bared body.

“Alpha,” I called, gasping as he started to touch my mounds, playing with my n*****s while still peppering me with kisses.

“You’re very sensitive here,” Solan muttered, drawing circles around one of my n*****s while tugging the other.

He stayed on my neck for a moment, murmuring how badly he wanted to mark me. I felt panic coursing through my body, feeling the anticipation naturally occurring to me, but my reasoning tells me to stop him before things become complicated.

I slowly inched away from him after feeling his control slipping. Solan was panting, eyes gleaming once again. There was slight confusion in his eyes as his primal instincts tried to take over and act on what he was fighting to do since earlier.

I cupped his face, “You’re just affected by my heat, Alpha. It’s going to pass.” I assured him with a small smile, trying to appeal to his reasoning.

He growled in response. I could feel his frustration simmering from my continuous attempt to draw a line between us. His lips crashed to mine, this time, with more intensity. His hands roamed my body, squeezing my breasts enough to make me cry out a moan.

“Solan!” I exclaimed, my eyes widening when his hand lingered on my core.

He didn’t respond and continued with his ministrations, entering a finger inside and thrusting a bit before entering another, all while his lips focused on pleasuring my mounds. I found myself calling for his name over and over again, but he wasn’t done just yet.

River quickly went down on me, spreading my legs while looking at me intently. My legs were shaking as my heat continued to flare up. My skin felt tight, and the only thing that alleviated it was his touch. Even his gaze was enough to shatter my reasoning.

My back arched when he drew closer. His tongue darted to my skin, and my mind almost blanked out. Solan didn’t stop, using both his tongue and fingers to pleasure me until I came undone.

Tears pricked in my eyes, catching my breath after, but I couldn’t help but grab onto his arm, wanting more.

Alpha Solan towered over me, as if he knew exactly what was running through my mind. I could feel his hardness pressing on my stomach, making my breathing hitch. I want him. I want him so bad.

I clung my arms around his neck. “Please…”

He quickly obliged, entering slowly and letting me adjust to his length before setting his pace. Once again, we let ourselves lose to pleasure.

Solan’s pace quickened, and I could barely think through the waves of heat that consumed me. Every thrust, every touch, every groan and moan coming out of us pulled me deeper and deeper into the emotions I could only express at times like this.

When we finally reached our peak, my body could only tremble against his. Solan held me through it, thrusting a few more to ride our orgasms. He rolled to my side after a moment but continued to hold me. The room was suddenly filled with nothing but the sound of our shallow breathing.

My body was still trembling, still sensitive from everything, and yet I couldn’t bring myself to move away from him.

He pressed a soft kiss to my forehead, still breathing unevenly. “I’m sorry,” he murmured, “I got carried away earlier.”

I shook my head weakly, eyes already half closed, “It’s okay, Alpha,” I whispered and gave a small smile. “I didn’t mind.”

Alpha Solan stared at me for a moment, probably thinking about our conversation earlier, but he didn’t push it anymore. He knew all too well that what he wanted to happen would only make things harder for both of us.

I badly wanted to tell him how I felt in his arms. I wanted to admit that I badly wished this moment could stretch a little longer, but I simply smiled and appreciated what I currently have. I let my fingers brush over his chest, feeling at ease with his presence, the warmth of his skin, and everything else.

I knew that my heat was already subsiding, and by morning, I’d have to pretend and remember my place again. He’ll go back to being the Alpha King, and I’ll go back to being the omega who doesn’t deserve him.
