Rina: That’s fair enough.
Jeremy: Yeah. Sorry to have to ask you this but I’m curious, are you, by chance, Latina?
Rina: No, I’m a purebred Filipina. Why? And you?
Jeremy: Nice! I was just curious because you have Latina features. I’m half Spanish, half Filipino who grew up in the States.
Rina: You’re a mestizo. Do you speak Tagalog at all?
Jeremy: I guess you could say that. I understand some Tagalog. My Cebuano is better. Do you speak Tagalog or Cebuano or any dialect?
Rina: Tagalog of course. No other dialects, I grew up in a Tagalog
