Chapter 25: Ember
Ember:
Ember rushed to the bathroom, knowing if she didn’t get away from Damien, neither one of them would leave the room. She couldn’t hide her disappointment. She was more than ready to make up for lost time. Damien could have done anything to her, and she would have happily allowed herself to get lost in the pleasure. But Ember knew that making a good impression on the guests downstairs was important. She was the Luna now, after all. She had certain duties to her husband and his pack. They didn’t have the same freedom as they did before. Ember was sure that it would take time to find a balance between her mate, her child, and her duties as Luna. But she will try for her mate. What else could she do? Her mate needed her by his side. This was the Gods’ plan for her. E
