Detective Chief Inspector arrested for Assault of fellow police officer in Sheffield.The Gazette has learned that a senior detective with the Sheffield CID, Detective Chief Inspector Albert Blundell was arrested for Assault after a fracas with a fellow senior officer during a search at his home in Fulwood, Sheffield.
GazetteIt has not been disclosed why DCI Blundell’s house was the subject of a Search Warrant.
The assaulted officer has not been named by the West Riding Constabulary. It is understood the DCI Blundell has been released on bail pending further enquiries…
