Detective Chief Inspector Albert Blundell of Sheffield CID charged.The Gazette has learned that Detective Chief Inspector Albert Blundell has been charged with corruption, accepting bribes whilst in office, misconduct in public office and the possession of indecent images.
GazetteHe has been released on police bail and will stand trial at the next Sheffield Assizes Quarter Sessions in the Courts on Castle Street, Sheffield.
The West Riding Constabulary have refused to comment on the case….
