As soon as Yarrow returned to his office, he made up his notes and then
re-convened the morning’s briefing. He walked over to the pin board and opposite mortuary photograph of the dead girl wrote ‘Selena Kirkham aka Selena Kirkham-Doyle’. Yarrow then moved over to the blackboard, wrote both names and the name ‘Jerome Kirkham???’ He did not seriously consider Jerome to be the killer but his movements still had to be investigated so that he could definitely be eliminated as a suspect. He also wrote ‘Theresa Doyle, mother? Other Doyle relatives, uncles, aunts, cousins???’
