It had been during the arrest of Frankie Starling when the notion that Blundell might be corrupt was first planted in Yarrow’s mind.
Yarrow, through WPC Suzanne Fillmore’s efforts, had tracked Starling to a house in Sheffield. He had then assembled his team ready to make the arrest, but as a matter of common courtesy between forces, he had advised Sheffield CID that he would be making the arrest on their patch.
