Kael looked at us, his eyes serious. "Lyra, you pushed her. Good. Lilian, you stood your ground. Better. This is what the King wants. He wants to see if you can fight, not just with a weapon, but with your spirit. This was a test for you, Lilian. A test from the King."
My head snapped towards Theodore. He was nodding slowly, his face calm. This whole thing, Lyra's bullying, was a test. A way for Alexander to see if I truly had strength, or if I was just a 'soft omega.'
Lyra scoffed, but she didn't look as proud as before. She knew she had been part of a plan.
"You both will train together from now on," Kael said.
"Lyra, you will guide Lilian. Teach her what you know. She needs to become stronger, faster. And Lilian, you will push yourself. Alexander expects nothing less."
