-LILIAN- I stood by the windowpane, my eyes fixed on the pine tree meters away from me. At first it was just an avenue to rest my head, but sooner than later I found myself intrigued by its intricate nature. It had a lot of claw marks, the bark running in but regenerating to cover up the scars. As the wind blew, it made sounds, sounds of pain and perplexity that sounded like a whistle.
