-LILIAN- The air in the room was thick, heavy with Alexander's gaze on my bruised shoulder. His anger from moments before seemed to fade, replaced by a deep, hungry look that made my skin prickle. He was staring at my injury, but his eyes held a desire that had nothing to do with healing. Slowly, deliberately, he reached up and pulled off his heavy, dark training tunic. He tossed it onto a nearby chair, revealing his powerful, muscled chest. The sight of his bare skin, all hard muscle and old scars, made my breath catch.
