The moment the door shut behind the men, Sam sank down on the edge of the bed. Relief and joy mingled with exhaustion from the emotional roller coaster of the past few hours, leaving her legs and hands shaking. In just over an hour, she’d marry the man she loved. Again. And he’d made sure she’d have family and friends this time. The sweetness of the gesture, no matter how much of the plan got botched, had fresh tears welling.
