ALEX I had promised myself, sworn on my very soul that I would never set foot in this house again. Never. Not for a visit, not for a quick stop, not even by accident. This place held too many memories, and none of them were worth reliving. But as fate would have it, one man’s foolishness had dragged me right back to the last place I wanted to be.
