His lips curved, the faintest twitch of a knowing smile before he reached lazily to the side. Without even glancing, his fingers found the phone resting beside him on the bed. He tapped the screen once, never breaking eye contact. My legs loosened instinctively, the tension snapping so suddenly it almost made me stumble.
