EVANDER'S POV
"Alpha, we are already -" Alex started, and I couldn't help but glare at him, stopping him in between.
"I know, Alex. Don't disturb her sleep. She has been through a lot today," I said through the mind link, and he nodded his head before leaving the car politely.
Looking at Avyanna's face that was so close to my chest, I couldn't help but sigh. I don't know what it is about her that every time she is near me, I can't help my mind, my emotions, and my actions.
She doesn't know how hard it was for me to control my fast beating heart when I had made her lean on me.
I didn't want to scare her and have her think that I have ulterior motives for her, and thus, this ride with her was one of the hardest rides until she fell asleep.
