Chapter 20: The House That Remembered Me Olivia's "Liv" Winters’ POV I woke up to the wrong ceiling. That was the first thing I noticed. Not panic. Not fear. Just a quiet, disorienting wrongness that settled deep in my bones before my mind caught up. The ceiling above me was dark wood, rich and familiar, stretching overhead in clean lines that I knew by heart. Morning light filtered through unseen windows, casting faint shadows across the room. For several seconds, I simply stared. Confused. Half asleep. Waiting for reality to correct itself. It didn't. The air smelled different too. Pine. Leather. Fresh coffee lingering somewhere in the distance. And beneath it all— Alpha. A scent I knew far too well. My breath caught. "No." The word escaped before I could stop it.
