I paced up and down the room, wringing my hands. Why hadn’t Cedric returned yet? Why did he have to go with Alpha Dimon in the first place? We were supposed to leave this damned place three hours ago but Cedric disappeared all of a sudden. Upon inquiry, I found out that he had gone with Alpha Dimon.
“How could you be so foolish?” I muttered as I punched my palm. Thousands of apprehensive thoughts plagued my mind. Why did Alpha Dimon take him away so secretively? What if he harmed him? What if kept him trapped and used him to keep me as his puppet?
