Luro’s POV Don! Dong! Dong! Dong! I was pulled out of my sleep by a sharp sound. I groaned and tried to sleep back but the shrill voice kept reverberating making me feel restless. Through my exhausted daze, I remembered that this was probably the warning siren. Throwing off the covers, I rushed to check what the matter was. Everyone was already awake. Some of the elders had already started unrolling the fabric of the wigwams while others were busy packing their belongings; their movements swift and precise like that of an expert practitioner. “What is the matter?” I asked but everybody was too busy to reply.
