‘Cedric, where are you? Please come home quickly. I don’t think I can handle this alone.’ I mindlinked again in the hope that he would listen. He had promised that would be back in a couple of hours. The night had fallen and yet he hadn’t returned.
Drawing in deep breaths, I steeled myself. I had find the strength to hold on until he returned, “Leo carry Wanda to the hall and prepare for the last rites.”
“But, Luna…. Shouldn’t we wait for Alpha Cedric to take the decision?”
