Over the next few days, I learned more about the pack from Anara. There were only females in this pack which was kind of shocking. If they ever found their mates, they could stay with their mates until they were pregnant. Once they got pregnant, they had to reject their mate and come back here.
If the baby was a boy, he was left with the father if it was a daughter, they would bring him here. The girl was raised here in the desert and was trained to keep herself concealed. I must admit that I was totally freaked out by this craziness.
However, they were very good to me. They treated me like their daughter. Within a week, I had become very frank with them. I had recovered completely too. So, that night I decided to go and meet Alpha Raphael.
