World of Destiny

Nael walked along the winding path between the tall trees. He felt a little more confident after reading the message in the bottle, though many questions remained unanswered. What did the words "light in the darkness" and "truth behind the illusion" mean? And what awaited at the Arcana Academy? The "World of Destiny" was originally created from a war between the gods. A world born of chaos and harmony. According to legend, this world was created by six primordial gods, each wielding varying powers. They were Aether, the god of the sky; Terra, the goddess of the earth; Aqua, the god of water; Ignis, the god of fire; Aria, the goddess of wind; and Umbra, the god of darkness. At first, these six gods lived in chaos, each wielding uncontrolled power. However, they soon realized that their powers could complement and balance each other. They united and created a world where their powers could be used to create life and harmony. Aether created the blue sky and the shining sun, Terra formed the land and mountains, Aqua flowed water and created the seas, Ignis provided warmth and light, Aria brought the gentle breeze, and Umbra created shadows and mystery. After creating the world, these six gods then created the creatures that would live in Arkana. They created humans, elves, dwarves, and other creatures, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. However, over time, the power of these six gods began to fade, and they left the world of Arkana to return to the realm of the gods. Before leaving, they left behind 22 Arcana cards. These cards became a source of power for the creatures of the world, and they were used to create balance and harmony in the world. However, the power of the Arcana cards could also be misused. Therefore, the gods arranged that the 22 Arcana cards could not be obtained by anyone; instead, the cards themselves chose the person. Hundreds of thousands of years passed since the beginning of the world's creation, and the name "World of Destiny" began to be forgotten, and intelligent beings began to refer to this world as "World of Arkana." The Arcana world, where every race lived peacefully side by side, was short-lived due to one man's ambition to collect all 22 Legendary Arcana cards, and that man's name was "Demon King Lucifer." Lucifer was never satisfied. The kingdom he ruled was only a small part of his burning ambition. From the beginning, he had watched reality twist, destinies intertwine, and power change hands. He saw the flaws in the divine order, the well-disguised chaos. And he decided, with a deep-rooted conviction, that he was the only entity worthy of absolute control. Not for mere destruction, but to reshape the universe according to his vision—a perfect order under his dominion. The secret to achieving that order, he believed, lay in the 22 Legendary Arcana cards. Not mere cards, but fragments of cosmic power, the essence of every aspect of existence. The Magician, The Empress, The Emperor, Justice, Death, The World—each card was a key, a carving of destiny. And Lucifer was determined to collect them. His journey was a b****y saga etched in the pages of time. With wiles as sharp as his horns and powers capable of toppling stars, one by one, the Arcana cards fell into his grasp. He used his cunning charm to persuade a Saintess to surrender the High Priestess, force the fall of an Emperor with the Emperor, and overthrow an ancient kingdom for the sake of the Tower. Each card he obtained added a resonance of power to his soul, strengthening his resolve, and sharpening his vision of the world to come. Hundreds of years passed, and Lucifer had collected 21 of the 22 Arcana. The cards radiated an aura so powerful that the very matter around them trembled. The universe bowed before their nearly complete power. Lucifer then prepared a vessel he had carved from the core of a dying star to drop it into the world of the Arcana and then retrieve it. He then imbued it with ancient binding magic that should be able to contain the Arcana's power. He began placing the 21 Arcana cards into the vessel. One by one, the cards floated, sank into the container, and were submerged in an increasingly intense purple light. The Magician's magic, the High Priestess's healing, the Empress's love, the Emperor's authority, the Lovers' passion, the Chariot's power, and so on, all merged. The gem pulsed ever more intensely, emitting waves of energy that felt like the heartbeat of the universe. But then something happened. The pulsation turned into a vibration. Tiny cracks appeared on the vessel dark gem's surface, like a spider's web. This vessel should have been indestructible. But the power of the 21 Arcana, which should have bent to its will, raged, refusing to be contained. The pure energy was too great, too wild, for even the most powerful vessel. With a soul-shattering roar, the vessel exploded. Purple light exploded outward, not in a controlled explosion, but as a cosmic shockwave that tore through reality. Lucifer took the blast head-on, nearly killing him; fortunately, he managed to get as far away as possible before being killed. But it didn't come at a small price; his body was destroyed and his soul almost completely destroyed. Therefore, even if he survived, he couldn't survive long; he had to enter hibernation to recover. When the chaos began to subside, all that remained was emptiness where the vessel should have been. And in the sky, above hell and above all dimensions, a gaping wound had appeared. A massive c***k, emitting a terrifying rainbow light, stretched across the cosmos. The uncontrolled Arcana energy spread like poison, spreading across every realm, every dimension, whether in the sky, in the sea, on the surface, and in the underground. Astral beings began to crawl out of the cracks, the laws of physics warped, and reality became malleable. The once stable mortal world was now plagued by disasters and magical anomalies. This was later called the Astral Rift. Lucifer's ambition had turned to disaster. He had gathered the 21 Arcana, but it was his failure to contain them that brought destruction. And it was then, amidst the chaos, that he realized a harsh truth. One card. One card had escaped his grasp, never to be found. The card he had most underestimated, the one he had dismissed as insignificant. The card that symbolized potential, new beginnings, and freedom from all limitations. "The Fool" card. The Fool remains free, dancing on the edge of the chaos Lucifer has created, the only one unbound by his shattered ambition. Ironically, the card he neglected may now be the only hope for the reality he has torn apart. And here begins the story of the beginning of the journey of the main character chosen by the "Justice" Arcana. He will be shown past events to stop Lucifer, protect the other Arcana card holders, and try to discover the whereabouts of the other Arcana cards before the Demon King and his army do. Well, the real story only begins when the main character graduates from the Arcana Academy and is chosen by "Justice." That's why, even though I'm a veteran of this game, I don't know anything about this damn academy. "And here I am carrying a time bomb with me, haaaa..." Nael's soft sigh hung in the cool air, turning into a thin mist before disappearing. Nael continued his journey, more cautious than ever. He knew every step he took could be decisive. The Fool wasn't just a lucky card, but also a burden. That power was a double-edged sword. On the one hand, he could become the strongest in the world, but on the other, he could easily destroy himself and everything around him if he wasn't careful. After walking for a while, Nael came to a river. The water was clear, flowing over smooth rocks. He looked at the map in his memory, and he knew that if he followed this river, he would arrive at the Village, the first village in the World of Destiny.
