CHAPTER FIVE
Lyle folded his arms and waited for Puckett to speak.
The stagehand slumped and said, “Look, this is … well, kind of hard for me to talk about, and I’m not sure why it even matters as far as you’re concerned, but …”
Puckett fell silent for a moment, then continued.
“If you ask around the cast and crew, just about anybody will tell you … I had a huge crush on Gentry Chapman. I’m pretty sure everybody knew about it … except probably for Gentry.”
“So you never told her?” Lyle asked.
