Chapter 26

"The paper will guide you? I don't get it." Complaint by one of our members.

"The difficulty." Said the chicken. Why don't they just think?

"Where did the paper come from?" I asked them.

"Woods?" Question and answer by one of our colleagues. I do not understand the words on the paper given to us. The only thing it has here is the arrow at the end of the paper dotted in front of the arrow.

"No, that's not a clue, because there are so many woods here." Said the chicken while fiddling with his cellphone. I do not know what he is doing.

"No, it's possible." Dwight groaned while still looking seriously at the paper given to us.

"Come on, let us just look for some piece of paper here." Said Dwight. We followed him while thinking. It is not just about looking at the pieces of paper. It is something more senseful and deep.

"Wait, what are the things that guide us?" Question by one of our members. I turned my attention to him.

"Guardian angel." The chicken said innocently. I was just shaken.

"Directions, right?" Another of our members said. Dwight just stared at the paper clue.

"It means that the paper will give us the direction?" I ask an answer. Maybe she's right, the paper will help us to know where the right direction is.

"Hand me the paper, Dwight." I ordered Dwight, he looked at me first before he handed me the paper.

I looked at the paper, focusing my attention on the arrow on its side. Looks like the clue is here.

"We have to go back." I told them. I can go that alone but I will take their trip first.

"What?" The chicken reacted first so I stared at him.

"Why? We're halfway there oh!" Many more complained but I just let them.

I was surprised when Dwight suddenly passed us and took the direction back. They did nothing but follow Dwight and grumble. I smiled in my mind, is he really mad at me?

"Now?" Dwight asked me, I smiled at him and showed him the paper.

"What exactly was its place when sir Arthur gave it to you?" I asked him, he raised an eyebrow at me and handed me the paper.

"What for?" He asked me a rude question. I just stared at him. Since the two of us have been together for a long time, I know that small things are important to him so it is impossible for him not to remember his exact place before.

"Just do it, Ice." When I teased him, he returned because I called.

"Here, take a look." He said softly all over the paper. We are here in the exact place we were before. Well, not that exact because that is impossible.

I looked at his hand. I followed the arrow's direction on the paper. There is a signage there, 'Waterfalls --->'

I pointed it out to them and they just raised an eyebrow at me.

"The arrow symbolizes directions. Meaning, the paper will give us the direction. All the paper given by sir points to that signage. Now, let's go there." I will walk with them first. I know they will follow me.

There was a road there so we had no trouble finding waterfalls.

"Wow!" They all said. They took out their cellphones and painted the waterfalls. I just stared at them while raising an eyebrow, I just waited for them to finish.

"Athena, picture the three of us." Smiling daldalita said to me. He handed his cellphone to one of our members and they hugged me and the chicken at the same time. I was surprised by what they did but I still smiled. It's nice to have a friend.

"Ay! I'm beautiful here!" The chicken and the chatterer shouted happily. They are too proud with their faces.

"Aren't you done with your shits?" Dwight said irritably so they all stopped. He was just seriously looking at the falling water while saying that.

"Hehe, it's over." Stuttering said daldalita. I was shaken.

"What are we gonna do here?" He was still irritated when he asked us.

"It's up to you, if we just stare at it." One of our male members answered him.

I saw Dwight get even more bored, the irritation was too obvious in his eyes.

"Let us just search for something senseful." I told them and started looking for another clue.

"What are we going to look for?" A woman asked. I just shrugged because I didn't want to talk to him.

"Guys! Look a paper!" We went in the direction of our female member who shouted.

"Give it to me." Dwight said authoritatively. I smiled because it was obvious to him that he was very annoyed and that he was already cococny with what we were going to do.

He read it silently so I raised an eyebrow. I handed him the paper and gave it to Daldalita to read aloud.

"Under me is something and under something is me." I frowned at the contents of the paper.

"Eh?"

"Think humans." I told him. They all thought as I looked up at the falls. Someone is there and he is watching us. I know we are not members of that. Nor can a normal person stand in the rushing water. It was as if he just didn't have the water and he wasn't even carried away.

When I turned my attention to his behavior, he left just in time. It was as if he knew I would see him there.

"What if, we change the word me and something? Let's change the word." Suggest one there. I looked at the falls again. I feel like a lot of people are watching us. I do not know the riddle they solve because I feel the presence of people. Dwight pointed it out to me. How easy it is to feel the other presence around. So it is impossible for him not to feel it.

I looked at Dwight and saw that he was looking in the other direction while frowning. I followed what he was looking at and I saw a shadow from there. I approached Dwight.

"Ice." I call him.

"Quit calling me Ice, Athena Iris." I was surprised when he said my full name.

"Do you feel that?" I asked him.

"I taught you that, so of course I did." He said rudely. I smiled. Is that really a to me?

"Are you mad at me?" I laughed asking him.

"Yes. Tss." He averted his eyes so I laughed even more.

"Hey Athena! Help me here!" Manok shouted at me so I stared at him.

"Ay hehe. I told you to be loving first there." I stared at him even more so he averted his gaze and went back to what they were doing.

Dwight approached them so I approached as well. We need to leave this place as soon as possible. The presence I feel is getting closer and closer.

"Under the rock is paper and under the paper is the rock, that's probably it." Said a man. They quickly looked at the rock where the paper was stuck. They dug there with their hands.

Because they are digging in the ground, the flesh was really natural then. Are they not thinking?

I turned to the water falls. Behind the falling water. I saw a figure of a man there who was looking badly at Dwight. I looked at Dwight and he was just staring at the people digging.

"Dwight, come with me." I pulled him away from our group. I quickly ran to where the man I saw was.

Before he could leave and escape, I pulled him with all my might and leaned against the wall.

"Dwight, freeze his hands and his feet." Dwight followed me so I removed my grip on the man.

"Who the hell are you?" Dwight asked him a serious question. I first turned to my groupmates who had stopped digging. They can't see us here because my eyesight is really too sharp so I saw this creature.

"You're a traitor Dwight! A freakin 'moron!" The man shouted at him. Dwight and I were soaking wet so Dwight was obviously very annoyed. He punched the man in the stomach so the man was bleeding profusely.

"Ready to be a cold corpse." Annoyed Dwight said and put his hand on the man. I waved his hand so that he could not continue his planned murder of this man.

"Don't. Stop being a child, Ice." I said angrily to him. Didn't he even think that this one could still be used?

"Why are you here?" I asked the man calmly. He just stared at me.

"Answer me or I'll kill you." I told him. My patience is low in such situations. I don't want to force people.

"Then kill me." He said firmly while smiling. My jaw tightened and he choked.

"Now, kill him." I command Dwight. In a few moments, the man was inside the ice block.

"Come on." Dwight said so I followed. That man is wasting my time.

"Under the water is the ground and under the ground is the water!" A woman shouted. They still can't answer the riddle.

"Let's go to the water." Manok and Daldalita suddenly overtook me and we went down into the water together. s**t! They might see the man.

I looked for Dwight and saw him looking in the direction of the man. I saw the ice gradually melt with the man who also looked like ice because it melted with the ice.

"You dig to the bottom." Command one. Others followed him so I did too.

I only searched low because they would not put Arthur in the deep.

I saw my companions with their mouths swollen and seemingly in need of air. I do not understand. Why don't they just breathe?

I took a deep breath under the water and saw the others come up.

They take the air up and back under the water again. I mean, they can't breathe under the water? But why can I breathe? Amazing.

I just dug the digger. Until I can get a glass. It had water inside and I saw the paper in it. Using my dexterity, I picked up that glass. I went up in the water.

I broke the glass and took the paper in it wrapped in tape.

"The paper will guide you." It is still written on the paper and it still has an arrow. My attention was focused on the dot in front of the arrow.

"There are waterfalls here, but you can still go and use them tomorrow."

I suddenly remembered what a professor had said. It looks like we went wrong, I'm sure what he said is true that it should go tomorrow.

They all calmed down and approached me.

"Humans, I think this isn't the right place." I told them all, it was just weak but everything stopped.

"s**t ah! I'm so tired!" Complaint of a woman. I was suddenly bored because they had no one to help but they were complaining.

"Don't shout at her!" Dwight yelled at him. We were all silent, all we could hear was the falling of the water.

Dwight and I looked at each other, he stared at me.

"How do you say so?" He said seriously. I looked at the woman he shouted at who was now just sitting quietly.

"Because I know how to listen, that's why. Let's go back." Dire I just walked straight and I don't know if they follow or not.

In the distance, I saw a very familiar male figure.

"Ion?"
