"About earlier, back in the room—I didn't mean to pull away from you on purpose. I lost my temper. I'm sorry," Adrian said seriously, his dark eyes fixed steadily on her.
After a moment, he pulled his sleeve back from her grip.
"I'll drop you here. I'll text Lucas to pick you up from the gate so you don't get lost on your way back. If you want to go out tomorrow, I'll come get you. I'm heading out first."
Just as he turned to leave, Claire caught up to him again and grabbed his sleeve tightly. "I'm going with you!"
