Alpha Marco snapped awake to her sweet, perfect voice in his head. Come. He would have run to her regardless, but his limbs moved as if forced, the puppet like movements of compulsion. He was driving to her before he had even thought to alert his pack. In a fit of premonition, he gathered his pack, those fight ready, leaving only defenders, children and the infirm behind. He shifted fully, always in tune with his wolf and sending its need to run to her. Finally, she had called. Marco had no Beta, it was unusual, but his pack were more naturally lupine.
