Summer opened her eyes to bright light. A hand reached out and grabbed hers, excited. Suddenly beeping filled the room as several machines went haywire, but Summer didn't care. That electric sensation was sending tingles all through her body. Alpha Barton. She sighed deeply in relief. A nurse urgently burst into the room, then glared at Alpha Barton.
"Alpha Barton, we've been over this. When it's your turn to stay with the patients, you cannot touch Summer. We don't understand why it seems everything haywire, but it does!" The middle aged nurse sounded exasperated.
