Summer lay back on the table in the small room, alone with Doctor Annette a few days later. She hasn't been discharged yet, but the doctor now felt she could attempt to shift with only the dangers she'd previously warned about, and that of the collarbone piercings. Summer's belly was now swollen; just 2 weeks into her pregnancy, the pups were showing. Summer smiled as on the screen one moved, pulling its tiny foot away from its sibling. Their heartbeats we're now totally indistinguishable from each other, just a constant loud noise over the monitor.
"Looking good, Summer. Hopefully the nausea will resolve itself soon, and the pups will settle. I think in another week we may be able to determine their gender." Dr Annette announced, with a smile. It was a nervous sort of smile. Alpha Jack
