Alpha Harrison lifted a sleeping Summer from the bath and she roused. "Hi," she whispered, snuggling into his arms. He carried her to their bed, which he'd cleared of any sign of Alpha Clark's visit.
"The pack looks ready to go. There's some remaining, a few warriors. I can't blame him for that, but I think it means the plan needs to change, we'll sleep here tonight and tomorrow we'll romp as wolves. Joe is following them today to see if they go far, and he'll look around to meet us with the getaway car."
Summer nodded, snuggling into his arms and falling asleep quickly.
