Second chance on the Christmas.

Chapter 01

Life wasn't always fair to me always. I've never got anything so easily. Whether if the parents love or something else . Always I've to do hard work to achieve . But this time I don't know how god seem so kind to me that man whom I loved from the childhood he itself came to me and told me "he wants me to be his girlfriend. Being nerd and least liked person in the college . I'd never thought that he would notice me. I agreed we have been neighbours from many years. I was five years old When I'd first saw him. But his attention was always towards my sister more than on me. I remember how he used to come in our house and always preferred to play with my sister and ignored me like I never existed . I was so near him. But he didn't care to notice me and always neglected me like I'm not even present in his life. But before a month when out of sudden he came to me and asked me to be his girlfriend then I couldn't believe on it. First few minutes I couldn't disguise the fact that in actual ,the famous boy of the college Liam luffman asking me to be his girlfriend. I widen my eyes having open mouth and look at him like he has grown horns on his head making him chuckle in amusement. His melodious chuckle made me feel butterflies in my stomach. And I smiled like an i***t.

So will you be my girlfriend?? . He yet again asked me breaking my trance. I blink my eyes and open my mouth to answer him” but all I got a silent breath fogging out of my mouth being not able to utter anything.

I I ..... I stammers trying to search words to speak.

Hey don't worry. I'm not that bad. Trust me. Girls often like my company. He smiles staring at me with his beautiful eyes which is one of my favourite thing on his face.

Err ok. I answered looking at him biting my bottom lip in anxiety.

Ok means ,, ??are you ready to be my girlfriend??"He clarifies having excitement on his face which I never seen before ever in my life.

Yes I'll be. As these words slipped out of my mouth. I've been taken in hug by him making me paralysed. Thankgod if he won't had holding me then might I would had collapsed on the floor by now.

Right now thinking about this seems so dreamy. I can't describe how much happy I'm with him. I'd never thought that one day I'll have my boyfriend that also LIAM luffman. Whom every girl adores in the college and just get drool over him with his one sight.

Elisa what are you doing here?? . I've been looking for you in the other shop. He comes running towards me and took me in back hug placing kisses on my cheek.

I just needed something. I turn and hugged him resting my head on his chest feeling bliss to be with him.

Oh ok that's fine. Now if you are done shopping then shall we go. He asked scrolling his phone trying to hide from me. But despite his efforts " I still managed to catch him chatting with my sister Amelia.

Yeah let's go. I said softly hiding my frustration seeing him still lingering around her after their broke up. Actually I've forgot to mention that Liam and my sister was in relationship before he propose me. They were so serious that my parents and his parents Were planning to make them marry as they gonna complete their studies. But I don't know what got into them that all of sudden he broke up with her and came to me. But fun fact is no one knows I'm his girlfriend except his friend jack. I'm trying to take it lightly. But somewhere I've fear that soon my dream will be burst out and I'll be yet again left alone like always.

Elisa where are you lost. ?? I've been talking to you from past ten minutes. But you are not answering me. What happened my love. Is everything alright?? . He ask cupping my face in his palm.

Yes I'm fine. It's just I was thinking that are you going to tell family about us tonight Christmas party right . I asked holding his hand in my hand.

Yeah of course I'm going to tell them. Is there any doubt. Don't worry ok. Everything will be fine. Hmm. He assured me and take me in hug kissing my head three four times.

I hope everything goes fine. Because the way nothing absurd happening in my life from past one month. I assumed surely something bad gonna happen soon .

At evening

I worn the dress which Liam specifically chose for me . He said I should get ready properly so that when he present me as his partner. then everyone should just get aww at us. So today I've put extra effort to get ready which is not my cup of tea at all. I prefer to stay simple and never liked make up. But still I tried my best for his sake. Simultaneously on touched up my make up for last time and about to head out “when my phone started ringing. I look at the phone screen and found my friend ria is calling me.

Girl where are you. I've ??? been calling you from past thirty minutes. As I kept phone on the ear she started yelling making me sigh.

I was getting read for the party. That's why my attention didn't go towards phone. Anyways are you coming right ??

I am coming as well. Obviously I wanna see if that Liam fulfil his promise or not. To be honest babe. I don't think so he will make a move. He is still into your sister. She says having hint of seriousness in her tone.

I came in the living room and found my sister is surrounded by loads of gifts and presents “which is of course provided by my parents. They look a happy family together. I wish if they love me same the way they love my sister Amelia. But it never happened. They will always give priority to her more than me.

Elisa can you take our picture. My dad says excitedly passing me his phone.

Why are you giving her phone dad. We can take selfie as well. You don't need to do so much effort for us. Amelia snatches the phone from me and itself took the photo hugging mom and dad both. I should leave. Feeling awkward between them. I pass a light smile and walk out from there fisting my hands in my cardigan. I wish they love me same the way they do to my older sister. But I guess that won't happen in this life. So crying over it will be baseless. With those thoughts I wiped my stubborn tears and left the house alone instead waiting for them to take me along with them.

In the party

As I reached inside my eyes started running around to get glimpse of the man” for whom I specifically came. Otherwise I really don't go in crowded places. I hate so much hustle bustle around me. . So whenever any party happens” I prefer to stay home instead going places like this . But today Liam was asking me again and again to come. So I decided to join this get to gather. Moreover he is going to tell our parents about us. So I can't miss the chance to be not there.

Hey where had you been ?? I was looking for you everywhere. Ria speaks holding my elbow as she spotted me standing in the distance.

Texi came late because of rain. That's why I got an hour late.

Yeah whatever. By the way you boyfriend seems too cosy with your sister. I've seen how she was clinging him with him all the time . Infect now as well. To be honest I'm not getting good vibes from them. They seems back to normal. Hearing her a fear settle in my heart and i immediately darted my eyes towards Liam who came down along with my sister “ who is holding his arm passing extra cheesy smile to everyone.

And seems like he already has done it. Suddenly I flinch coming back to the reality when Liam father Chris luffman speaks on the Mike getting on the stage. .

Hello guys. I'm very glad to have you here into the get together. Christmas was always special day for us. This is the only time when we all people gather and make memories . .But today I wanna make this day more special . I wanna tell you all that me and my best friend Ethan decided to turn our friendship into a deep relation by marrying my son with his beloved daughter Amelia. All gasp and started whispering in bewilderment. So with your all blessings and love I would to announced their engagement today. . Hearing him I stumble back in shock and look at the Liam and my sister “ who suddenly became hot topic of the party. Since morning I was imaging the time when he will hold me and tell our parents that he is with me and he wants to marry me. But it all tarnished in seconds and now he is standing with my sister sliding a diamond ring in her finger having a big smile on his face. But that wasn't enough that all of sudden my sister jumped in his arms and latched her mouth with him making him step back.

Elisa ,, ria gasp and covered my eyes to not witness this. But I removed her hand and continue to stare at the shameless people infront of me. Who broke my heart into pieces without having a little mercy.
