Forty minutes later, Tarkyn rose gently back into consciousness to find Waterstone’s face looking down at him. Waterstone smiled. “Hello there. You fixed yourself, I see. Well done. Was it hard?” Tarkyn stayed where he was and shook his head. “Nothing like it had been. Once I took into the battle the knowledge that I wasn’t really helpless, there was no battle.
