Roger attempts to walk over to Jasper but Jessica grabs his arm. "No Roge!" Roger pulls himself free, crosses the road, and walks over to Jasper. "Jasper you don't have to do this." Jasper has a determined look on his face. " Railway yard, 10 pm" Jasper walks away with a quick pace and disappears among the oncoming crowd. Roger makes his way back to Jessica and they find a nearby diner. "The atmosphere is tense as they eat their meal. Jessica finally breaks the silence. "So what happened between you and that guy back there, is he also a werewolf?" she leans in to whisper the final part of her question." "Yes he is a werewolf but not like me, he is a lowborn." "What does that mean?" "It means he has no control of his transformations, when the moon is in a certain phase then he will transform into a werewolf for that evening. he is transforming tonight." "And you have to fight him tonight? for me?" "Yes." Jessica looks at Roger with a tear running down her cheek. "You don't have to do it, lets just run away and make a life somewhere else, don't risk your life for me." "Jessica, I love you and if this is how we can be together, then I will fight 1000 werewolves for you." "Roger, he is just a kid, I could see in his eyes he is afraid." "I know, I'll try to talk to him first but in my world, it's kill or be killed."

Roger walks onto the dark railway yard. there are old broken down and rusted railway carriages. The place resembles a cemetery for trains, there is an ominous silence in the air, the silence is broken by a rustling sound coming from somewhere in the darkness. Roger is tense, he listens for a heartbeat, he hears another scratching sound and sees a shadow quickly over across the roof of a nearby carriage. "We don't need to do this Jasper! don't let Aiden control you!" A loud roar emanates from the railway yard, Roger looks up and sees a large silhouette standing on top of the railway carriage, the full moon is shining behind him, Jasper jumps down from the carriage and rushes at Roger, who quickly transforms into his werewolf form and braces for the impact.

Jasper lunges at Roger with his teeth close to Roger's face, Roger grabs his snout, and to keep Jasper from biting at his face, Jasper mounts himself on top of Roger and starts punching him and scratches at Roger's face, Roger gets his legs under Jasper and kicks him off sending Jasper flying, as soon as jasper hits the ground he is back up and runs at Roger again. Roger roars at him and he runs at him as well. The two beasts clash and start scratching and biting at each other. Jasper scratches at Roger's chest, causing large gashes to appear. Roger steps back and grabs at his chest in pain. Jasper uses the opportunity to jump up onto the roof of a nearby carriage and disappears into the darkness. Roger looks around him on high alert. Jasper could jump out at him from anywhere at any moment. the place goes back into silence again after the chaos that just occurred. He can hear Jasper creeping around him in the shadows, he can hear Jasper's heart beating furiously. Suddenly Jasper jumps onto his back and digs his teeth into Roger's shoulder, ripping a chunk of flesh from his body. Roger Roars in pain and grabs Jasper by the head and flings him over his should and onto the ground with a loud thud. Roger stomps onto Jaspers's chest, he keeps stomping until the blood starts to shoot from Jaspers's mouth. As he attempts on the last stomp Jasper rolls away just in time. Jasper tackles Roger and slams him into the wall of a nearby carriage. He slams Roger's head into the side of the carriage, the railway yard is filled with a loud echo of the sound of Roger's head being smashed into the metal wall. Roger is dazed and struggles to maintain his balance, Jasper starts to scratch at his back, ripping out large pieces of flesh from Roger's back. Roger roars and swipes his claw at Jasper, the swipe connects with Jasper's jaw with a tremendous force, knocking him back and disorienting him. Roger lunges at Jasper and manages to dig his teeth into his throat and rips a large piece of flesh, the blood gushes out of Jaspers's throat and he falls down onto his knees as he gasps for air. Jasper slowly transforms back into his human form, the large gaping hole in his throat remains. Roger stands over him and transforms back into human form, He sees Jasper on his knees breathing his final breath, Jasper looks up at him and smiles as he falls to the ground dead. "It's not your fault, I'm going to be with my family now." Roger fights back tears as he thinks to himself, he was just a young boy but he had no choice, Jasper wanted to die and was not going to stop until one of them was dead.

Silence once again falls over him but just for a moment, a slow clap breaks the silence as Aiden steps out of the shadow. "That was brilliant, that young man nearly had you for a minute, but what a comeback!" Roger is furious, he transforms into his werewolf and jumps into the air towards Aiden with murderous intent. it seems as though he is flying. Just as he is inches away from Aiden another werewolf tackles him out of the air and he goes flying to the ground. Roger transforms back into a human and screams at Aiden. "He was just a boy!" Aiden lets out a sinister laugh. "I didn't kill him." "Have you had your fun Aiden? was that enough bloodshed for you?" "Roger you make me sound like a crazy psychopath, you know this is for you, you are weak and this little exercise will make you stronger, and when the time comes you can take your anger out on me, but you still have some growing today, who will be your next opponent? any takers?" "I can take him." A large muscular man steps up to Roger, his face is right up close to Roger's face." "No, Damon, no highborn yet." "Keep your eyes open, this will be a surprise round, it's still a blood moon so, it could be soon or the next phase, stay tuned!" Aiden laughs out loud as they leave, disappearing into the shadows.
