Bitten
The sky is dark above with stars piercing the darkness like holes in a napkin. Below, little cottages are lit by candlelight and two 10-year-old boys are playing outside, chasing each other in a game of tag. A woman's voice calls out from inside a cottage. "Aiden!, Nicholas, don't run off too far, the woods are really dark." Aiden runs over to the front door of the cottage. "Don't worry mom, we want." Nicholas comes rushing towards Jasper with hands stretched out towards him. "I'm going to get you Jasper!" They both laugh out loudly as Nicholas chases Aiden. Aiden loses track of his whereabouts and runs further and further away from the cottage towards the dark forest. As Aiden gets closer to the edge of the forest, the tall trees block the light from the moon and the stars. Nicholas look
