Jessica is hard at work in her office trying to complete a slide show presentation, she is concentrating hard on the work in front of her. Suddenly there is a knock on her office door it's someone delivering a large bunch of long-stemmed roses. Jessica cannot hide the smile on her face, she knew who the roses are from. The delivery man leaves the office and Jessica's phone rings, she can see on her screen that it's Roger, she answers "Hi sexy." "Did you get the flowers I sent you?" "Yes they're beautiful, thank you." "You still hard at work? can I take you out for lunch or something?" "I am still busy with my presentation, don't you have work to do?" "Me? no, I'm on a sabbatical, took a year off." "Really? just like that?" "Yes, just like that, I want to spend as much time with you as possible." "I wish I could just walk away, but my work means a lot to me, I hope you can understand." "I understand, just come to me as soon as you can, OK?" "I promise as soon as I'm done." Jessica hangs up and gets back to work. Jessica keeps working, the hours pass by and she starts to feel hungry. Jessica thinks to herself "I have so much work and I really want to get home to Roger, but my stomach is growling, let me just grab something from the nearest vending machine and get right back."

Jessica leaves her office and walks down the hallway towards a nearby vending machine. She puts some money into the machine and selects her snacks, potato chips, and a chocolate bar. She tries to rush the machine, by whispering to it "Come on come on." The snacks drop down into the collection slot and Jessica grabs them and tries to rush back to the office, suddenly she hears someone call out to her "Jessica!" Jessica smiles, she is sure that it's Roger who couldn't wait to see and she was hoping he would disregard her words and come and whisk her away from the office. Jessica cant hide the disappointment on her face when she turns to find Detective Silverman looking at her. Detective Silverman walks up to her "Were you hoping I was someone else, a boyfriend perhaps?" "Detective Silverman? right? What can I do for you today." " I just have a few questions, I was hoping you could help me with, can we talk somewhere?"

Jessica and Detective Silverman walk into Jessica's office, she walks around her desk to find a seat and signals, Detective Silverman to have a seat "I think I'll stand if you don't mind" "Did you catch the killer of those guys that attacked my friends and me?" "We're getting close, but we think the same killer struck again and we have a person of interest." Detective Silverman pulls out his phone and shows Jessica a picture of Roger and Jasper when they were having their conversation. Jessica becomes tense she's not sure if she should tell Detective Silverman about her relationship with Roger. "Do you know any of these men in this picture?" Jessica leans in to get a closer look at the picture, she is pretending to concentrate. "I'm sorry no, I've never seen those men before." "Are you sure, because from the video this picture was pulled from, you were staring quite intensely at these men and we think that this guy did this to the other guy? We don't have a front-facing picture of the person of interest" Detective Silverman swipes over to the next picture and it's a very graphic picture of Jasper's dead body at the crime scene, there is a gaping hole in his neck where his throat was ripped out, Jessica is clearly shaken by the picture and turns her head away." "I am sure Detective Silverman, I don't know those men." Jessica's eyes start to tear up and Detective Silverman's experience as an interrogator starts to work for him, he does not believe her, he can feel that she knows more than what she is telling him. "Jessica, don't let this get more complicated than it needs to be, you could be putting yourself in a whole lot of danger if this man did kill all these people then he is an extremely unbalanced dangerous person who literally tore these people apart, he is nothing more than an animal and does not deserve your protection!" Jessica tries her best to hold herself together and keep her emotions in check. " Detective, I have lots of work to finish and I have a deadline, if there is nothing else then please leave." Detective Silverman turns to leave the office as he pulls the door towards him he turns to Jessica "If you remember anything or someone please you have my number and be careful, you might not be as safe as you think."

Jessica breaks into tears as soon as Detective Silverman leaves, she quickly gets up from her chair and rushes over to lock the door. She can't shake the pictures of Jasper from her mind and a feeling of dread engulfs her as Detective Silverman's parting words replay in her mind "You might not be as safe as you think." Jessica starts to think to herself. "Is Roger as much in control of his transformation as he says he is? If he gets really angry or we have a fight will he do to me what he did to Jasper? I really love him and I know he loves me but is love enough?" The tears keep running down her cheeks, she walks over to a draw and pulls out a few tissues to wipe her face. Jessica finishes up her work and gets ready to leave the office.

Jessica walks into the parking area towards her car, as she opens the car she can feel someone staring at her. She turns around to find Aiden staring at her from the parking bay opposite her. Jessica recognizes him from their last encounter, she walks over to him "Listen to me you weirdo if you don't stop harassing me I will call security!" Aiden smiles at her very creepily and does not say a word, Jessica turns to walk away but walks right into a large framed, dark-skinned man, Jessica screams out loud but the man puts a bag over her head and picks her up. Damon puts her into the boot of one of their cars and drives off. Jessica can feel the car drive for long while and finally comes to a halt. The boot suddenly opens and they pull her from it. The bag is pulled off from Jessica's head and she finds herself in the middle of a wooded area, with Aiden standing in front of her, he is barely able to contain his excitement "Hello Jessica it's a real pleasure to finally officially meet you, My name is Aiden and welcome to the hunt!"
