Alex came to my office a few hours after I called him. " You look like s**t " He says as he sits down opposite me and taking in my appearance. " I feel like s**t .. I didn't even get to sleep my head hurts " I say leaning learning more into my chair. " Let me guess, woman problems ? " I untie my tie it's also just suffocating me.

" Yep more especially my sister " I say and stop because of his reaction when I say sister he tenses up and avoids looking me in the eye. " Do you have something you want to say Alex " I ask him and he sighs and breathes in, " I saw your sister yesterday at the Da vincenzo positano and she was there with her boyfriend" He starts saying and I feel my blood boiling. " I know you love that restaurant because Olive likes going there with you and I didn't think you'd want to see her sharing that with someone else"

We've had so many special moments there and now she's sharing that with someone else this feels like the ultimate betrayal. " I think you should calm down Lorenzo you always knew she'd grow up, she's a woman now she should date" I can't believe what I'm hearing right now, "So your saying I should allow some loser to break my sister's heart huh is that what your saying " I say through gritted teeth.

" You lied to me, I should have come there and beat the s**t out of the prick who dares touch my sister" I tell him fuming. " Come on dude your overreacting I saw the dude he looks harmless " He says which infuriates me even more it's clear he doesn't give a s**t about Olive. " of course you'd say that, What do you know about being a brother you have no siblings."

" Whoa, no need to throw insults man, instead how about you actually face the real issue here " He says to me and I frown what real issue is he talking about. " What is the real issue then Alex tell me " I ask him dying to know what nonsense his going to say. " Man that's not for me to say but I'll say this, ask your self why your so worked up that your sister is dating " He says and leaves my office.

That's simple I just don't want anyone hurting her, I know how man think and I don't want her experiencing that hurt. I just want the best for her, speaking of which I check the time by now Olive is probably home I should go and talk it out with her. Maybe I can get her to leave that loser and focus on her studies. She has to graduate in a couple of months and a relationship can affect her studies. Yes surely she'll understand there's plenty of time for dating once she's done with school.

I leave my office and make my way to the elevators, I step inside and press basement. I go to my car and drive out. As I'm driving I'm thinking about Olive from the Time she came into our family until now. Just yesterday she was 10 years old but today she's a beautiful young lady. Yes I know Olive is beautiful it's undeniable, which is another reason I'm protective of her. I know other people see that beauty too.

When I get to the house I see it's only her car parked so she's alone. I enter the house to find her in the living room she's watching TV, she's only wearing a crop top and some shorts. So most of her skin is on display, " Hey " I say as I sit down next to her. " So your talking to me now " She asks me. " Sorry for my behavior this morning Kidd, you know I'm protective of you and I just want the best for you " I tell her, she's still not looking at me she's so focused on the TV she doesn't even say anything.

I switch of the TV this makes her look at me, I see that I pissed her off. " Your angry I get that, but can we at least talk" I ask her. She huffs and then folds her arms. " The only thing I want from you is you saying you accept that I'm old enough to know what's best for me, and you'll stay out of my love life. If you can't say those words then this conversation is done " She says clearly very serious and I'm left surprised.

" You'd stop talking to me, because of a boy " Trying to hear if I heard right. She looks me Deep in the eyes " Yes I would" and I keep quiet because I'm left speechless there's no way in hell I'm letting her date. She can just forget it. " Well I've already gotten my answer" She says before storming off to her room.
