Lisa Eric who is Karen childhood and best friend does any work for as long as money is involved.

She is an agent provider in M&B company and that was why she was able to get her best friend work and aside that she does some other dirty job to get money for herself.

I woke up, my eyes were so heavy, i looked at everywhere i found myself in the hospital, immediately she sat down on the hospital bed.

The doctor and nurse came in.

"How are feeling," He asked checking my pulse.

"I am good, how did i get here,please"Sje asked the Nurse.

"You brought in here this morning looking lifeless" the Nurse explained as she add more drip to her.

Charles Mark travelled out of the country for a business trip, he is an ambitious man at the same time a play boy. He has a charming face and well built physique.

He is from an average background, it was love at first sight. He met Karen back then in school, he was attending a different high secondary from that of hers.

He always wait for her to pass so he could see her and after so many persuation Karen accept them to be dating, after a while she lost her father.

Immediately the drip finished, i was discharged from the hospital, the drive came to pick, i was about to enter when i discovered it was my boss himself driving the car.

"Good afternoon sir," I greeted but he didn't respond.

I sat inside the car, he zoom off, his driving skills are great but his speed is very high.

From afar, he began to honk his car, the gate man immediately opens the gate and he drives in.

I came out of my car, afraid that he will be angry at me

"what were you doing with my system," he asked calmly.

"I have knowledge in computer before my father died," she calmly explained.

"next time, i don't want to see you near my property without my permission"He warns.

We walked inside, I went to my room to have some rest, shortly i remember my agend for today.

I slept for a whole three hours, yet it's seems not enough.

I went head with my agend of the day, i immediately clean the house and made lunch available for him.

As I came down from the car, i entered my father's mansion only to find a shocking scene. I saw Lisa my best friend and Charles my boyfriend in an intimate position. They were closed and had their arm wrap around each other while smiling and laughing at something i couldn't hear.

I felt betrayed and pains spread from my heart.

"Charles!" Karen subconsciously yelled out loud. Her voice attracted their attention.

"Oh Karen you are back, how have you been?" she asked with a malicious smile.

I couldn't be bothered about Lisa and unruly behavior. My gaze was focused on Charles as if demanding an answer.

"Do you mind explaining," I asked with a sharp gaze.

Karen, i have been meaning to tell you this. i have for your best friend Lisa, so i am breaking up with you," Charles said with a straight and shameless look.

"But why,"Karen angrily asked.

"you think i will get to a low life like, you are so dump and illiterate for my liking," Charles said not mind her feelings.

"I thought you are supposed to be my best friend, stand for me when others reject me,"Karen faced Lisa.

"oh who is your best friend, for your f*****g information this house is been sold,"Lisa reveal a shocking information.

"you did what? with whose person consent?"Karen angrily asked.

"yeah i search for the document with the help of your best friend and I forge your signature, "Charles mockingly said.

"this is the reason why you blocked me everywhere, Charles and Lisa you are going to pay for this, i promise,"Karen threatened.

"look at this fool, who has nothing has the gut to threaten us, you better leave and never returned because nothing here belongs to you "Lisa mockingly said.

"but why,"Karen slowly asked.

"if you will excused us, we some where very important to go,"They push and pass as Charles said.

I broke them in tear on the floor, how could they do this to me, so they nevet loved me, why am i of bad luck, nobody want me, no one loves me.

I have been tricked, i thought inwardly with bitterness and hatred.

Ring Ring Ring the sound of my phone pulled me out of my thoughts. I took a deep breath before picking the call.

"Please am i speaking to Miss Karen?" A male voice said over the phone.

"yes, may i know who is speaking?" I asked sensing the urgency in the voice.

"Good, we are calling from Harilime hospital.

Your boss had just been admitted," The male voice said.

"what? admitted? I asked with a shock all over my face.

"I am coming soon," I said as I stopped a cap.

I asked him to speed. i couldn't imagine how life will be without him, he is my only hope in this life.

As i entered the hospital which was a forty five minute drive from my home, i quickly rushed to my boss ward.

"please ma, you can't run into a ward like that. This is a hospital," A female receptionist said as she chased after me. The warning fell on my deaf ears as my mind is filled with worry.

"please what is wrong him,"I asked as breath sign of relief.

"we are still observing him,"Doctor Henry said checking his body.

"Driver, please can you tell me what is wrong with my boss," I asked anxiously.

"i don't know, we came back from his office and he collapse as we came down from the car,"The driver explained.

My heart beat as fast as it could, i hope it is not my bad luck.

"who is his guardian,"The Nurse asked.
