Rhysand's POV
"Close your mouth." I nudged at her lips which fell open for some minutes. "You're going to catch a fly in it if you don't."
She gulped hard and looked around the room.
She probably thought it was a prank.
"Where is my mom? Why are you the only one here?" She asked confusion written all over her face.
"I'm the only one here because I brought you here from the office. You forgot what happened?" I asked, a new fear unlocked.
'Is it possible that she lost her memory from a panic attack?' I asked inwardly.
"Do you remember what happened at the company?" I asked again and she winced as she tried to remember the details.
If she lost her memory for real, then that man would have to serve another term in jail. No time in jail will be enough to pay for the pain he has caused
