Chapter 23 Rising Tempers

After mentioning that there was more, the phone line got really quiet. i was starting to get worried when Bruce's voice cut through the silence " Princess, if you tell me he touched you im going to rip the kingdom apart wolf by wolf then brick by brick." 

" After me warrior" Max chimed in. Once the arguing started, i decided it best to keep the rest to myself, even though thankfully it wasn't more than the awful kiss. It certainly was going to be had, my parents not came to my rescue. I shivered at the thought of him touching me more, the ash taste was burned into my brain and resurfaced constantly.

 " Guys" i all but shouted into the phone " I have to go now, i have been invited to a beach party and im already running late" The knocking on my door became apparent after the mention of my being late. " I will call you all later, miss yall, love yall" Hanging up after a few miss you love you toos i hopped off the bed and went to the door.             

  " Darling are you ready?" Rogans Green eyes shined back at me. I smiled politely and side stepped him into the hallway "As ready as i can be i suppose, now about those smores" i nudged his shoulder trying to give the mood a happy boost. Since talking with my friends at home i really felt home sick and was starting to get depressed. 

Rogan thankfully took the hint as he cupped my cheeks in his warm hands, staring into my eyes " I did promise you anything you wanted and it has been arranged" His eyes darted from mine to my lips, i still felt off after the assault and really didn't want the attention but something in the way he held me had me welcoming anything to keep my brain from wondering back to it. 

 I moved in closer pulling his head toward me and my other hand rested against his chest. His lips met mine in a soft hesitant touch, that turned feverish and urgent in seconds he had me spun around and pushed against my door. 

The sudden impact had me smiling into the kiss and wrapping my hand in his hair then his hand traveled down to my shoulder and squeezed. He pulled away from me, his breathing harsh and coming out in fast puffs. " Sarah you are more that i could have imagined, your lips are as soft as the sand on tired feet and as fluent as the waves of the ocean, in that kiss i was home".  

'WELL IM DUMBSTRUCK"' Sadie i am too, how can he come up with something so quick, no doubt he couldn't be googling now. His breathing was evening out as well as my own, his hand still on my shoulder and the other by his side. I couldn't come up with a retort so i simply pulled his collar back to me and said " then come home". 

He smiled into my lips, our tongues danced a delicate number as his hands moved one to my waist and the other to the back of my neck.  All thoughts of the ash taste and assault where gone like he was kissing away the bad memoirs. 

"Rogan! How dare you force yourself on the princess! You would do well to reign in yourself and mangy wolf Now! Let Her Go!" Beta Evans voice was like a bucket of ice over your body and pouring salt in a fresh wound. Before we could move away Rogan was ripped from me and slammed into the opposite wall with such force the pictures fell and a c***k was forming in the wall. 

"HOW DARE YOU TOUCH HER! I WILL RIP YOUR ORGANS OUT THOUGH YOUR MOUTH!"  my father snarled into his face as his grip on his neck had him gasping for air, blood tricked down his head where it connected with the wall. I snapped back at he smell, running over to grip my fathers hand .

 " Daddy no! Its not what it looks like! I asked Rogan to kiss me! Please let him go" My fathers grip loosened and Rogan slid to the floor. I knelled by his side holding his chin in my hand as i looked into his eyes, " Rogan are you alright?, im so sorry" He smiled at me, the weirdo was just attacked and he was smiling! " Oh darling dont worry about me, im fine, all beautiful women will get you an ass kicking and i just got mine, your definetly worth it" His warm words had me snorting at him and shaking my head. 

' HE JUST GAINED  A FEW BROWNIE POINTS WITH ME' Sadie of course chimed in. 

"Sorry to break up your little moment but Rogan you need to come with us now, we need to talk son" King Roger all but growled to us. Helping Rogan to his feet i looked up seeing the hallway had filled up with people, obviously expecting a show. 

Rogan kissed my cheek and whispered      " Ill meet you at the beach party" my father growled as he walked away following his father and Beta Evans down the hallway. i turned my attention back to my father, he pointed towards the door and growled " Your room now!" i nodded and opened the door, my dad following closely behind me. 

I jumped as he slammed the door behind him, "Sarah this is beyond trouble making now, this is not only ruining your reputation but mine as well". i stared at him in shock, all my 18 years he has never scolded me without a playful tone. 

He continued" Sarah i almost started a war over you being attacked, you never gave me anyone's description to go on and i had King Roger Combing the beach for clues all night and day. i threatened him if he didn't find the person who attacked you i would kill him. Now i walk in on you against the wall with Rogan all over you and i couldn't help but think it was him after Beta Evans said what he did". 

I looked down at the floor, i realized i really was starting real problems now, now just a few tricks for fun. "Sarah, you have some serious explaining to do, i was giving you space since the attack. i thought you needed it, seeing as now you where obviously just avoiding the issue at hand its time you told me exactly what happened. " his stern voice had me backtracking. i mean how much do i really tell him everything down to who the culprit is or just the basics. 

"Sara, the whole truth, NOW" the alpha command was something he had never used on me, it hurt that i had pushed him so far he felt the need to use it. i nodded and motioned to the small seating in the bedroom, as he sat i started to pace and indeed told him the entire truth, down to it being Beta Evans who attacked me and how he threatened Sophie. I was even more surprised when he blew a huge sigh and slummed into the armchair covering his face with his hands. 

"Daddy?" i inched closer to him and sat on the floor by his feet with my hand on his knee. he didnt respond, he stayed sitting there breathing heavy. "Daddy?" i tried again softer this time he shook his head and slid down to the floor wrapping me in a tight bear hug.

 " Troublemaker, im so sorry this happened to you, i knew there was more to the story, i sensed your unease around him but just assumed it to be how he has treated you so far. Had i known he was the assaulter i would have ripped him from his groin to his neck with my claws." 

I giggled at the thought, i knew my dad would do it to, he had no problem making an example from someone. " no need yet daddy, i have actually decided to challenge him at the farewell ceremony so i can show him he cant mess with an Ellingford and get away with it." it was his turn to chuckle, " Yes well i will agree to let you as long as you swear to me you think you can win, he has much more experience in battle than you and years of training." 

I nodded " i expect all those things, he has seen me fight but it wasn't for my life, i did almost rip his tongue out though, but he still doesn't know me". 'WE WILL CASTRATE HIM AND MAKE THEM ALL THINK ITS ACCIDENTAL" Sadie growled in my head and i agreed. 

After my talk with my father i left my room headed for the beach party, i felt lighter and alot safer knowing that my father knew the situation and could really protect us both. i found myself even excited for the revenge i knew would be mine soon. That slimy disgusting wasted piece of s**t would get his soon. 

Smiling i found my way to the fire and immediately got giddy with excitement for the smores Rogan promised.  Stepping onto the beach Raegan jogged over to me his blonde hair bouncing as he moved. He was dressed in khaki shorts and a navy blue v-neck shirt hugged him tightly, of course i enjoyed the view of his abs pulling at the fabric. Sadie even seemed to like the way his body moved with his steps. 

"Princess Sarah, i apologize for my brother earlier" I cut him off immediately "there's nothing to apologize for, i had already had the pleasure of your lips i only wanted a comparison" his smile turned to a full smirk " Ah and i know it doesn't compare to the real thing, however if you need a reminder im happy to oblige" i swear if his head gets any bigger he might be next years blimp in the Macy's Day parade. 

" Oh, no im quiet stated, your brother is quiet the kisser if i do say so myself, i am however expecting smores as promised" i walked past Raegan headed towards the fire in search of my precious. The look on his face you would have thought i slapped him, his jaw was tight and his eyes burning into me would have made me cower if i had been a lower wolf.  

After his initial agitation Raegan followed me to the fire side " So Princess, Rogan has some business to attend to so he wont be joining us tonight, but dont worry ill be here to keep you safe. I am wonderful company in and out of bed" He winked at he mention of us in bed. 

Rolling my eyes " Im sure you are, the multiple eyes i keep noticing dancing our way should be evidence of your bed jumping" i replied looking into the flames as they danced against the sunset. Raegan hummed " Yes well you are lucky since i only have eyes for you tonight" i turned to look at him now " Oh, only tonight, hmm well thanks i guess im honored" i all but spit the last part venom seeping though my tone. 

This guy was really starting to rub me the wrong way, arrogance is an attractive quality until you overuse it and put yourself on the pedestal expecting others to worship you. He scoffed at me " Princess are you being sarcastic?" i groaned and face palmed "Yes of course i am you arrogant Prince" trying to keep my RBF_resting b***h face_ from coming out my mouth. 

He chuckled at me " Well you certainly weren't this combative at your party" it was my turn to scoff " yeah well we also were to busy sucking face to talk, besides i was distracted with Rogan claiming my ass with his erection" i smirked knowing the best way to agitate him and shut him up is to use Rogan against him.

 For siblings they really didn't seem to like each other, then again meeting his parents had me understanding how they where always pinned against each other.  I hoped this jerk would get preoccupied soon and leave me to myself. I more so hoped Rogan would show up to save me, im sure his dad refused him to come after our indiscretion. They obviously only want Reagan to be number one.

 The moon must have heard my thoughts as he soon left me to a fiery red head who kept eyeing him and even unlaced her top enough to see most of her breasts. Her n*****s were pierced and  apparently wasn't wearing a bra as you could really tell the rings shape.  I always heard it makes them more sensitive, i am sure it gives a great toy as well. 

'WE AREN'T GETTING THEM'  I laughed inwardly as Sadie clinched back in my mind after shouting at me, that wolf was not happy at the thought. Enjoying the warm flames on my skin and the salty air, i scanned the crowd to find someone of interest when my eyes locked on a familiar face i almost jumped out of my skin.
