Chapter 9- Confessions

After pulling away from Bruce's intoxicating embrace i manged to suppress my lust for him and continue to ask what exactly he meant by "I will fight to win you" his answers were vague "i just meant i would fight to be your mate if i have to, please just let me hold you and stop questioning me".

 They didn't satisfy my curiosity on the subject however as he continued to plead with me to just hold me i agreed to stop questioning him and just enjoy our moment together. Shifting back to my wolf since the snow had started to freeze my human side we snuggled for a little while longer. When the birds started chirping i was thinking how comfortable i was and warm. my bed has never been this close to the window to hear birds, i thought, but its nice. slowly opening my eyes i realize Bruce and i had fallen asleep together by the lake.

 "s**t, s**t Bruce get up!" pushing against his wolf form he didn't budge so i did the only thing i could do i bit his ear.Jumping to his feet teeth bared i smiled the best wolf smile i could and waved a paw at him as i sat back on my hunches. he opened his mind link realizing it was me " oh s**t we fell asleep" he immediate looked to our surrounding searching for anyone to witness us.

 " well as much as i've enjoyed this its time i get back and wash your smell from me, unless we want more rumors." i blew a breath out and turned to go when his yip had me turning around to find his nose pressed to mine. This intimate gesture had Sadie purring then he started to circle us and rub his body down ours blanketing us is his scent. 

" Let them talk," his voice a purr though my mind " you will be mine one day and i want them all to know" shaking my head i snapped at him playfully and trotted back to the pack house with him hot on our heels. " cool it romeo, i cant have anyone else seeing us together, im in enough trouble as it is and it'll be hard to explain why we are sneaking back at dawn in wolf form and smelling like each other" i retorted getting closer to the back entrance. 

" We will just tell them we went for a early morning run and a little wolf form training" his wolf shrugged in response as if it was common sense explanation. "ha if i didn't know any better id think you planned this whole thing" i stopped at the door turning to face him. His wolf looked up to my balcony and jerked his head towards it. " well if you don't want to explain jump up there and avoid confrontation" .

 " yeah okay i have never tried to jump 4 stories and its not happening today." 'WE CAN DO IT JUST CONCENTRATE, PLUS WE REALLY DONT NEED EXTRA ATTENTION FROM THIS RIGHT NOW"  okay Sadie if you think we can. i backed up just enough to be able to see my doors, crouching down and focusing my attention on the ledge, my tail swishing behind me. I used every bit of strength i had in the jump, i landed just beside the ledge having to grab it with my teeth. 

Teetering in the air i used my paws to get a grip and pull me over, immediate hitting the floor i changed to my human form and fist bumped the air at my accomplishment. remembering Bruce at the bottom i looked over the rail seeing him in human form with a grin so big i could count every tooth if i wanted.  waving i mind linked him id see him later. walking into my room still naked i went straight to the bathroom to wash his scent from me. 

 Feeling the hot water cascade down my body had me reliving last night. taking my black cherry Merlot body wash onto my wands and washing my body i couldn't help but take it slow as i slid my hands down my breasts. imagining it was his hands on my body the mixture of the hot water and my imagination had me reaching to touch my apex. Hips bucking in response to the stimulation i was providing, i let slip a moan enjoying the feeling i was bringing myself. 

Picturing it being Bruce's hands rubbing at my c**t while i arched my back into him feeling his growing erection. my c****x was building at the friction, i quickened my pace and pulled at my c**t causing my body to erupt in pleasure  i rode out my o****m moaning into my free hand to quiet myself. With his scent washed away and my s****l tension dulling i got dressed for my day.  

Knowing my birthday was almost here i had a lot to do to plan it perfectly. I also knew i needed to distance myself from Bruce, my feelings mentally and physically had me questioning my self control. I made excuses to skip training to my parents that i needed to spend extra time in study hall to avoid my training with Bruce, they agreed after i convinced Millie to help me persuade them. 

The next few days passed slowly, but isn't that how it always is when your looking forward to something. The full blown romance with Bruce had my stomach in knots thinking if i found my mate at this party it was only going to complicate things. i still didn't understand what he meant with the whole he will win me thing but it did have me paying extra attention to each lesson my mother gave me. 

Since the announcement about the party my parents have been on  edge. Having the extra time i decided to brush up on my history of the Lycans. i already knew the legends front backward and sideways from the countless hours as a child being taught by the elders. According to the legend, Lycaon, the son of Pelasgus, angered the god Zeus when he served him a meal made from the remains of a sacrificed boy. As punishment, the enraged Zeus turned Lycaon and his sons into wolves. 

They were the start to the royal families, although each of the 4 sons couldn't control their greed and wanted to each rule land. Lycoan couldn't bare his children greed and fighting so he separated them to the four realms which we keep today at Ice, Shadows, Dessert and Mountain Packs. Some say its a curse others a gift, i believe it was a gift myself since i dont know what i would do if i didn't have Sadie. Shes a part of myself and i never want to loose her. 

Smacking my head "Sarah this is important, the court always has the right to question you and you have to be prepared. one slip of the tongue could cost us everything." right that speech again. After i heard the last bell ring for school lessons to end finally so i decided to enjoy the rest of the day with Millie. 

Setting up our chairs to lounge by the indoor pool, some much needed girl time with my Bestie.   " okay so Millie whats been going on with you anything new i should know about?" i tried to make casual conversation with her to break the tension. ever since she thought i was with her brother shes been acting rather distant. it hurt me to think she was mad at me even though i knew i hadn't done anything to deserve it.

 "oh no nothing new just ready to party it up tomorrow with y'all, speaking of are you ready to meet your mate?" "ha if you only knew" i said sarcastically. frowning Millie continued " okay spill it i know something is going on with you and ive been patiently waiting for you but enough waiting, your my best friend. 

We tell each other everything so tell me or i swear im going to toss you into the pool and drown the answers out to you" laughing and holding my hands up in surrender " okay easy wolf girl, ill tell you" looking around to make sure no one was in hearing range i leaned as far over as i could to whisper in Millie's ear. " So Bruce have kind of a thing". 

Screaming and clapping her hands excitedly a few pairs of eyes darted our way. "Shhh dammit Millie i whispered for a reason" smacking her hands down i growled slightly in annoyance. immediately she dropped her hands and looked around to see how much attention she had drawn. i stood up removing my cover up and stepping into the pool motioning for her to follow. 

Millie joined me in the far end of the pool closest to the open doors leading outside. the view of the mountains outside had us both signing in adoration. 

" Millie i really think im falling in love with him." she turned her head to look at me and laid a hand on my shoulder " whats so wrong with that?" sighing i pulled closer to her and whispered " because hes a warrior not a alpha or a prince. hell hes not even a beta, my parents would never allow it to be. plus laws are in place to prevent this kind of thing, he could be demoted, banished or worse killed for his involvement with me." 

 " oh yeah i forgot about the laws for a second" " you do know however that there is another way" she trailed off looking around nervously. " What are you talking about Millie?" my heart lept at the new information. " Ill tell you when we aren't being watched she motion with a nod of her head behind us to see indeed we had an audience. 

' BETA EVANS IS A CREEPY AS F***, I REALLY WISH WE COULD RIP HIM OPEN AND WATCH AS THE MILLIONS OF GIRLS WORSHIPED US AT HIS DEATH' laughing i mind linked Millie at what Sadie had said us both in tears almost drowning trying to swim to the edge to get out.  

i couldn't wait to hear what Millie had to say but it would have to wait til after the ball tomorrow since we where already swamped in events beforehand. Climbing out of the pool we continued our girl talking, laughing and pushing each other on our way to bed.
