Almost a month after, we still did not have a lead on the mafia but drug use was surging even more in Cramsville. More and more kids had turned addicts and some even dropped out of schools and some underprivileged kids sold drugs for them in order to make money. I was getting even more frustrated by the day. Mariota had pretended to give this Jack guy a chance in a bid to find some information about him. She still felt that the guy had something to hide because he seemed sneaky. He never invited her to his house though he had already invited her to his in-laws’ place, which was kind of weird. She was hoping he would invite her to his place, so because of that she maintained closeness with him.
