I looked at everybody but they all had blank faces. After a long pause someone broke the silence. “Werelions as in werewolves?” Mariota asked. I nodded, “Yes!” I said. She looked at me then looked at Aimee and burst out laughing! I was really getting annoyed by people laughing when my kind was mentioned. Why? Were we jokes to them? She laughed a little bit but stopped as soon as she saw no one else laughing. Maybe she thought it was because everybody never heard of Weres. “Come on guys! He just said they were werelions, I mean, Weres don’t exist, they are just Mythical animals that can turn into people and change back whenever they want.
