Chapter Eleven
At Home Again
The fresh crew took over as they crossed into Canada heading southwest toward Texas after an excellent transatlantic crossing. The fight crew prepared an exquisite meal for them and Catherine woke up hungry again. She chose the beef tenderloin instead of the fish offering which did not appeal to her at all. The sides, twice baked potatoes, and gourmet green beans, tasted good to her and she ate eagerly although she did not finish it all.
“Where are we, Sam?”
“We are about to cross the U. S. border and enter American airspace. Most of the trip is behind us now. The weather is clear all the way into Texas.”
