I woke up with the noises that I heard. I tried to open my eyes and look around. I saw people gathering a few meters away from me. they are looking at me with unexplained expressions. "Oh God, what happened to her? She must've been hurt that bad." I heard a woman saying. I lifted my head, I don't think I am dead. I am inside my car. but I can't move my body. "Hey, she moved! The girl is alive!" A man screamed and they all ran in my direction. "Right, she's alive! Quick, let's help her!" another man shouted. They must've thought that I am dead so they did not dare to touch my body. A man tried to pull me out of the greatly damaged car. I can't move. My body hurts like hell. Then I heard sirens. I think rescuers just arrived. People carried me out of that car and lay me gently on the ground. "Sir, we thought she's dead but it turns out she's alive. She needs proper treatment fast." "Okay, thank you." Replied one of the rescuers. I can hear everyone talking about me and how they found me here. I was carried away with a stretcher and immediately been brought to the hospital. I smiled before I passed out. I woke up with the sight of a white ceiling. I can hear beeping sounds. My body is covered with bandages. "Baby, oh God you're safe!" A woman cried as she saw me opening my eyes. She is Miranda Fajardo, my Mom. I smiled when I saw her worried face. "What happened, mom?" I cried asking her to explain everything. "You almost died because of being such a hard-headed daughter! You drove even though you don't have a driver's license! You're only 17, a minor! How could you bring us this kind of disgrace Amethyst?!" His loud scream filled the whole room. I turned to look at him. Zackarias Fajardo. My...Father. His eyes were dark and are staring at me. I can tell his anger with the look on his face. I smirked as I saw it. "Zack, Stop! She almost died, stop nagging her! This won't do any good." She faced him and yelled. "She should learn her lesson, Miranda! She's causing a lot of strain on my Reputation! Tame your daughter or else I will deal with her myself!" He screamed. He looked at me with burning eyes before he walked out of the hospital room. She turned to look at me. She gave me a hug so I cried on her shoulder. "Isn't he worried that I almost died?" I asked her while sobbing. . . Fake sobbing. "Shhh. Baby don't mind your Dad. He just can't show that he's worried but he really is. Rest now, baby." She answered with a sweet and comforting tone as she rubs my back to console me. I sobbed there even though I got no tears. I smiled at the thought. Everything is going beyond what is expected.
