Semi-Teenage/Adult Mira's Pov
Life did have its ups and downs between us before we were brought back together. However, even when the odds were against us at times, we always seem to make it work. With the war still waging on nonetheless, made me worry over his safety continued. So then, after Touma returned from one of the battles into the early night, we discussed by starting a family together of our own.
"What do think we should first Mira, a boy or a girl?"
"Haha, men are so impatient. Whatever God decides darling, it doesn't matter, as long as our baby is happy and healthy once it's born. And besides, even if we have a boy first, I want him to grow up to be just like you. A mini Touma; brave and strong."
"Is that so? Then I want our baby to be just like you. A mini Mira; kind and smart."
"Even if it's a boy?"
"Even if it's a boy doesn't matter. Though if we do have a girl, I'm making sure all the boys stay away from her."
"A protective soon-to-be father as much as he's a protective husband until the end."
And yet, five months came and went with no sign of the couple expecting a child together

Semi-Teenage/Adult Touma's Pov
In the late Spring Mira and I wanted more than anything in the world besides peace was to start a family. Nevertheless, at the beginning of August, there were still no signs of Mira being pregnant. It frightened her, thinking that there might be something wrong with us conceiving as much as she's worried when I go off to battle. So then, three weeks before I could return to battle again at the end of August we decided to go to our village's local doctor in the town.
And our answer of why we couldn't have children was troubling news for both of us, especially for my beloved wife.
Learning about why Mira couldn't have a child was because since birth she wasn't able to. That and of an injury she went through when we were trouble increased our chances of not having a child. Since then, it tore her apart, and almost a week went by thinking that it was her fault that we couldn't be parents.
Until finally, we sat in a grassy field that we often played in as children so that I could talk to Mira, after giving her some to settle her nerves.
"Do you think we'll ever have children?"
"I don't know honey. If God will let be someday maybe."
"I know that you don't blame me Touma, but I still can't help thinking that it's my fault we can't have children. I want a child, your child. I want us to be family with that child that we made together and no one else."
"Mira, to me you are my family. Today till tomorrow, rain or snow even if adoption is optional we'ill have and love that child(ren) with every ounce of our being. So long as I have you and you have me, we are a family together."

Once more Touma left for battle after his three-week retreat from the war.
It did break their hearts to say goodbye once more, however, if Touma could not give a child to his darling Mira, then instead shall leave a parting gift filled with much passion; passed down from the woman of his family and to the ones who were once married in the family like his mother.
